Inspire Me wants to SEE HUE on June 3, 2012 (Sunday) at GK (Gawad Kalinga) SUNSHINEVILLE in Las Pinas!

We are inviting volunteers to be mommy/daddy of children for that day as we bring back the “corners” to life once again through this back to school project. So what are these corners? Okay, children will be grouped accordingly and the groups will take turns in going through all the corners like Health Corner, Future Corner, Sing & Dance Corner, Spiritual Corner, etc. 

Now, if you are interested in teaching or sharing in one of the corners which will be announced soon (but if you already have something in mind and you think that this corner would be beneficial to inspiring the children, please feel free to tell us right away and let’s work hand on hand for that) or if you want to volunteer and help facilitate and, yes, be a mom/dad… don’t think twice. Go! :) Tell us! Also, if you wish to donate you can give school supplies, books and things that the children can use for school. 


This will surely be a colorful day! Cavity Collective also invited artists to paint the walls of GK Sunshineville! What a good day to spread some love and inspiration.

Scenes from last year’s I’Mazing Race dubbed as The World is Our Playground. Hmmm, how about we have another I’Mazing race for this summer? Handa at game ka ba? Hmmm. :) Game ba kayo?

PS. Last year’s race helped I’M to raise funds for its back to school outreach project! Takbo, laro, saya at excitement para sa lapis, papel, bolpen, notebook, experience atbp ng mga bata. :)

PMS. Don’t ask me to explain that. I know it, I experience it but I can just sum it up to PMS days = monster days.

Well according to this site, Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a combination of emotional, physical, psychological, and mood disturbances that occur after a woman’s ovulation and typically ending with the onset of her menstrual flow. The most common mood-related symptoms are irritability, depression, crying, oversensitivity, and mood swings with alternating sadness and anger. The most common physical symptoms are fatigue, bloating, mastalgia and appetite changes with food cravings.

Yes, you got the last thing right— food cravings, O dear Universe. But well, girls have to live with it and still have to move on and still be awesome in different and personal ways in spite of PMS! (Insert——Hello companies, why don’t we have a special leave for the girl employees aka PERIOD LEAVE? Haha. And of course it must be a leave with pay.)

But kidding aside, I want to greet the world a A HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY! :) And in line with this, I’M: Inspire Me and Beatnik Prod would like to invite you to PMS: Pinay Making Sense. 

It’s on 24 Mar 2012 (Saturday) 7pm at B-Side, The Collective, 7274 Malugay St, Makati! Let’s enjoy the night with performances by Paramita, Flying Ipis, The Young Instigators, Talahib, Playphonics and more!

I wanted to greet them with nothing but a big smile but the tears were all forceful, making me feel weak and soft. There was this certain pinch in my heart that even until now wouldn’t go away. I will never be able to forgive myself if I don’t go back there again. I want them to feel loved, cared for and remembered.
